Brutal Pakistan Attack On Indian Soldiers Inside Indian Territory !!!

Line of Control
Last few days we had been talking about revival of India-Pakistan bilateral cricket relations and expressed hope for a positive chapter of amiable relations between the two neighboring countries. But unfortunately today we are again jerked back into the usual sticky atmosphere of suspicion, distrust and denial. Why and how the same sore comes up again and again is the question that never gets answered. Cricket or not cricket.

Pakistani soldiers, apparently from the 29 Baloch regiment, Taking advantage of the dense fog and mist a group of Pakistan troops infiltrated hundred meters into Indian Territory across the Line of Control (LOC) in the Mendhar sector and ambushed an Indian patrol party. The attackers brutally killed two Indian soldiers - Lance Naik Hemraj and Lance Naik Sudhakar Singh (one of them is badly mutilated) and injured one.

This was a chilling reminder of the brutal attack on Capt Saurabh Kalia and his team by Pakistani troops in Kaksar sector of Kargil during the 1999 conflict.
Today's attack took place along the Line of Control in Poonch district when Pakistanis came about 100 meters into Indian Territory and assaulted the patrol party.

Last month, the nations signed an agreement to ease visa restrictions on travel for some citizens. In last about one month, Pakistan army has violated the ceasefire agreement nearly a dozen times. Most of these firing incidents were in Rajouri, Uri and Keran sector to help infiltration attempts.

I Strongly urges the Congress led UPA government to take this issue very seriously and act accordingly in order to maintain the proper security at our borders and also UPA should demand to uphold the sanctity of LOC.
